If you are flying into the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (Greenville, SC), a member of the team staff will be available to pick you up on Thursday, May 29th between 5:30pm and 7:30pm only.  Team staff will be limited on Friday, May 30th; therefore, you will need to make other arrangements for airport pickup.  If you are flying into Atlanta or Charlotte, you will be responsible for making your own arrangements.

Players will only be able to check in and receive apartment keys between 2pm and 4pm on Friday, May 30.  Players flying in on Thursday should contact a member of the coaching staff for arrangements. All players are expected to report to the Team Meeting at 7:30pm on May 30th (this is a closed meeting for players and coaches only!).  

The Apartment Rooming List is now posted.  Special requests for rooming assignments should have been sent in by 4/30. 

Week 1 Schedule

Friday, May 30

2:00pm - 4:00pm Player Reporting      (SWU Baseball Stadium)

Players report to SWU Baseball Stadium between 2pm and 4pm (President's Suite) to pick up apartment keys and clear any outstanding financial obligations.  (Note:  apartment keys will not be issued to players that do not have their lease paid in full and all financial obligations to the team paid in full)  

5:00pm                 Coaches Meeting

7:30pm:                    Team Meeting at Dr. C. Keith Connor Field

What should I bring for the Summer?

• Baseball Pants (all players will be required to bring a white and a gray pair of game pants - No piping, only solid gray and solid white)

• Equipment (catchers should bring their own catching equipment)

• Glove(s) (If you have the potential of catching or playing 1B- be sure to bring the appropriate glove(s)

• Bats (the team will provide bats; however, you may also use your own.  Any bat brought in by a player MUST be approved by the General Manager prior to use)

• Sleeves Although the weather is warm most of the time, we do play some night games in Asheville and Johnson City, TN where the temperature gets cold.  You should bring sleeves just in case, especially pitchers!

Apartment Supplies:

The apartments are "fully furnished".  However, you will need to bring your TV and computer if you desire.  (Cable TV and Internet services are available at an additional charge)

Other Apartment Supplies you will need:

• Shower Curtain / Bathroom Supplies

• Cleaning Supplies

• Bedding Supplies for single bed

• Linens (Towels, etc.)

• Kitchen supplies (you may want to coordinate with other roommates)
