About the Camps

The SWU Warrior Baseball / Carolina Chaos Baseball Camp Series is one of the most unique baseball camps in the Southeast.  The camp utilizes talents of the coaching staff of the Southern Wesleyan University Baseball Program and The Carolina Chaos Summer Collegiate Baseball Program.  Players from the Warrior baseball program and the Chaos summer league team also work with the campers to provide a challenging and fun environment. 

The Programs

The Southern Wesleyan Baseball program makes it’s home in Central, SC and plays at the newly renovated Dr. C. Keith Connor Field.  The Warriors participate in the tough Southern States Athletic Conference.  The SSAC has sent four of the six teams to NAIA Region play over the last several years and has sent a school to the NAIA World Series each of the last two years.  SWU is one of the few remaining NAIA schools in the state and provides quality baseball in a tough and demanding market.  In 2007 SWU made school history by winning its first NCCAA National Championship!

The Carolina Chaos Summer Collegiate Baseball Program is a member of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League.  The SCBL is one of only eight summer collegiate baseball leagues endorsed by Major League Baseball.  The SCBL invites 30 of the top college players from across the nation to compete in a summer collegiate wooden bat league.  Players are scouted by major league scouts throughout the summer, while participating in the league.  Since 2003, The Carolina Chaos has sent over 15 players to play baseball professionally!  All of the Carolina Chaos home games are played at the newly renovated Dr. C. Keith Connor Field on the campus of Southern Wesleyan University.

What the Partnership means to you as a baseball player

The partnership between the Carolina Chaos and The Southern Wesleyan Baseball Programs will bring together coaches and players from across the nation.  The camp will be instructed by college coaches and assisted by top college baseball prospects.  This will provide each camper with a huge base of knowledge to increase their skills.  It will also be a lot of FUN, too!
